Hey there....Im sure this has been discussed before but couldnt find ne thing...

I was wondering approximatly how long does it take to get from the magic kingdom to Epcot (vice versa) using the monorail....An overall time estimate would be greatly apprecitated...

Thanks

about 10 minutes one way
From the TTC to Epcot it would only take about 10 minutes, however the OP was talking about from the MK to Epcot. In that case you would need to ride the monorail from the MK to the TTC and then transfer monorails for the trip to Epcot. This will most likely take about 20-25 minutes.

Peter is right on with his time during non-peak hours. And the advantage you get going MK>Epcot is that you merely walk across TTC from the MK monorail to the Epcot monorail. Going Epcot>MK you need to go down the exit ramp to ground level and loop back up with the crowd to get on the MK monorail. While this does not add a lot ot time, making the short trip with young kids or strollers in tow might add a touch of stress. It can be frustrating when the monorail is *right*there* and you have to go all the way around. Mentally prerare yourself that you will be taking the next one, relax, don't rush, and if you do catch it, well, that's a magic moment for you!
