and now for quick tidbits..

the parks were NOT busy for it being memorial day... I guess the heat scared people away... or the threat of crowds.

Either way, I waited no more than 20 minutes for ANY attraction, including a few that were walk-ons.

Nothing personal with this thread, but I don´t understand how this board helps... forgive my ignorance please, but is this mainly for those who have those very modern palms and things like that to be able to check the boards on the same moment they are touring the parks, and for those who are online while on vacation inside the parks? I don´t get it...

Thanks

It gives people who are travelling in the next couple of days an idea of how crowds currently are, and in the future it gives people an idea of what lines were like on certain days in the past year. There are often questions like "how busy is the park on july 4th?" With this board, people can drop in and actually see exactly what the wait times were like on that day in the previous year. :)

This board is great because, people can get an idea, what to expect when they get to the parks...before they even head out on their trip....

And I agree Rob...the parks were rather empty, it being a long weekend and all...around noon, I think the parks were the least crowded...the weather I'm sure had alot to do with it (it was scorching), I guess people opted for the resort pools and waterparks...I also kinda got the feeling that there were more locals and florida residents at the parks than outside tourist...which I guess is good for the parks...since the locals and Floridians as a whole are keeping the attendence figures up...and the cash flowing in for the moment...

MK was real crowded on 5/29....especially in the evening hours as people headed out to watch Wishes...I think that was the park with the biggest crowds this weekend (I guess the longer park hours had alot to do with it)...

I think this board is neat because it partially helps me get my WDW fix

Any time I can get updated info about WDW, I am a happy camper. Maybe I'm a little simple-minded sometimes, but I automatically make an attraction plan when I see these wait times. :)

My next trip is next summer, so I plan to pay close attention to this board during the same time period this summer. I also plan to monitor it closely in the week or so before I leave.

that's very smart. I'll be getting my AP again in the next few days, so I'll do my best to keep everyone up to date.
