Epcot Late Nights Live Question

I know it just started, but has anyone done the Late Nights Live event yet? Wondering how exactly you get into the parks. Since it starts at 9:45 p.m., but Epcot closes at 9 p.m., and you're not required to have park admission to get in. We booked it through MDE. Is the ADR connected to our Magic Bands so it would show up at the gate? Just curious how it all works.
