Hi,
Last time we were in Epcot was 7 years ago. We ate at a restaurant in Japan where cooked Habachi style in front of you. Is that restaurant still there? I do not remember the name of it.

Yes it is. It's called Teppan Edo. It's named after that style of cooking (Teppanyaki).

We here in the US tend to call it Hibachi, but Hibachi truly refers to a different style using a large open flame grill, not a large iron griddle.

Teppan Edo is good. We also like Tokyo Dining. Great view of WS Lagoon.

We're hoping to give it a try in November. We're fans of teppanyaki anyway, but it looks like lots of fun too

We ate at Tappan Edo in September and loved it. We had ADR for maybe 6 PM and we were seated immediately upon are arrival. The food was excellent and we loved sitting with other guests. We were a party of 4 and the table seated 8 so they were filled with others who had the same reservation time. I must admit that I felt a bit rushed compared to other Epcot TS restaurants. I would go again....

We ate there last night. They give you noodles and rice with your entree which is awesome. Mighty tasty and entertaining as well.

We love tappen Edo! It was one of the best meals on our last trip. The food was great, we both had steak and shrimp. We also enjoyed sitting with other couples and chatting about our trips

If you do lunch get there early for the opening ceremony.
