EPCOT hours

EPCOT hours show opening at 11:00. That has always been the case for the World Showcase, but the "front" of the park usually opened at 9:00. Is that still the case or does NOTHING open until 11:00 now?

Nothing officially.

Although they have been letting people in 30-45 minutes early and some rides will start operating then.

The entire park is officially open at 11:00 a.m. It has been this way since re-opening during the pandemic.

Thanks for the replies. Our usual plan was to do Spaceship Earth, Soaring, the Land, The Seas, etc. when the gates opened around 9:00 then move on to the World Showcase at 11:00. This sure messes up that schedule. My hope is that they will begin to open up the front section earlier before our trip begins May 29.

There hasn't been any indication of earlier opening for EPCOT since re-opening last July. They have extended hours in the evening, however. But with COVID vaccine rollout, who knows?

So far the first round of park hours changes have been set up through June 19. Still no 9AM openings at EPCOT yet.

Thus far if they have changed Epcot hours they have extended them at night, not in the morning. I wouldn't count on it happening, but stranger things have happened!

Not sure if this has been asked in a more recent thread (didn't see anything in a quick search), but is this still the case for Epcot Hours lately? Whole park opens at 11 with a chance it might open some rides 30-45 mins early? Trying to come up with a plan. Thanks.

It's still the case. EPCOT opens at 11 but closes after the fireworks at 10. You can check park hours on the MDE page.
They are letting people in about 30-45 minutes early, not sure if the rides start operating early....
