EPCOT Greenhouse in Lancaster, PA

I saw this on our local news over lunch. An Amish farmer is using the same vertical technology as we see in The Land greenhouse. Cool story and wanted to share.

Huh, I visited Lancaster last year because I was visiting Franklin & Marshall College, and the restaurant I went to said almost all their food came from local sources. I wonder if anything I had that night came from here?

It's really nice and cool to see that something devised at Epcot is finally seeing practical use. I wonder why this technique isn't used that widely?

When they started the story I said to my co-worker "EPCOT does that". 30 seconds later they mention WDW lol. Your dinner may have very well come from this farm.

I doubt his dinner came from this farm unless he was eating at the retirement community that it's near and was built exclusively for or did I totally hear what they said wrong. I mean, they said the chef at the retirement home requested specific herbs.

On the other hand there are many restaurants in that area that use locally farmed foods.
