Epcot Garden Rocks concerts - multiple short sets? Is dining package required to get a seat or stand?

Hello. We'll bet at Epcot Sunday and we're looking forward to seeing Little River Band, but I'm unclear as to how the concert(s) works. It's multiple shows in the evening, correct? Are they 30 minutes each? Do the bands play different set lists in each show? Do people usually hang around to watch all the sessions over 3-6 hours? Is it open seating and standing, or do you have to buy the dining package to get any kind of seat? Thanks!

Yes there are multiple showtimes, roughly 30 mins.

Set list is up to the band, so you may get something different, or it could be the same.

The theater is completely emptied after every show.

No standing, it is all seating. Dining packages are available with guaranteed seating towards the front. There is also a standby line to fill in any remaining space. There is usually standby space.

If you want to see multiple shows you would have to rejoin the queue and you may or many not get in.

Garden Rocks concert times are 5:30, 6:45 and 8 pm.

Shows are approximately 30 minutes.

I have seen all three shows in one evening. Had no issue getting seats all three shows.

We’ve been to many shows. Depending on the band or the featured singer appearing will determine how popular they are with the crowds and how fast the seating gets filled up. We’ve arranged the dining package for concerts we really wanted a guarantee for a seat. There have been certain performers that draw a very long line and seating fills up. If LRB is one you have your heart on seeing grab the package. You’ll get in with better chance of having better seats. We’ve also stood outside the seated area and heard the shows without difficulty.
Be prepared to hear the songs differently than you are used to. As the bands and singers age they sometimes have difficulty reaching those notes that once were perfect. They all still are great performers who play to please their fans so I’ve never gone away disappointed.

I've never had a problem getting a seat. For the more popular bands I'll get in line early. You can also watch right outside the entrances.

Thanks for asking this. I've never attended but I've always wanted to. I had a lot of these same questions. This is what I like about this website - you can always count on the members to answer your questions!
