Where does this take place at Epcot? It is a separate ticket event and if we go to Epcot but do not want to participate are we going to be excluded from a certain area? This October is going to be our first family Epcot visit!

Fantastic!!! I missed last years for the first time since '96... (wow that the first time I even thought of it!) Not going to do that again...

It is (get ready for the shock) included in your Epcot Admission. :dazzle:
What it is is basically a LOT of small kiosks set up around WS Lagoon as well as two or three large displays. Each kiosk has food and wine offerings from around the world. Each item/drink will run you between $1.00-$4.00. Each place usually has recipes available on print outs for the food they are serving. Just ask. There are a lot of offerings, and you will find you eat ALOT! There also are seminars offered. I believe all of those are free as well, but seating is limited. Some classes cost money as does the Eat to the Beat Dinner Series. There also are concerts most nights in the American Gardens Theater that are free (like Candlelight during HATW).

It is an amazing time. Epcot just feels alive. Really a cool time, even if you just walk around and have one or two items to eat.

It is my favorite time of year at Epcot.....and you are so right.....Epcot just feels so "alive"

(Holidays around the World is right on its tail.....another great time at Epcot)

Holiday time is the best. Flower and Garden is my favorite, though. Well, it was in spring 2004.
