Epcot dining dilemma....

So, I was going through my list of ADRs that I'll be making on Thursday (excited squeal!) and realised, that I haven't noted down anything for one of the two days we're doing Epcot. I've got Biergarten down for one day, but now I'm deliberating what to do for the other. It will be for lunch, as we're travelling with a 2 year old who might be spent by dinner time, but I can't decide which to go for. We've narrowed it down to Teppan Edo, Via Napoli and Rose & Crown (not my preferred choice if I'm honest, because we're from the UK). We've got the free DDP, hence why I'm looking at table services places ;)

None of us are fussy eaters, so would find plenty of options on any menu but which one do you guys prefer and think we should go for, based on food and overall experience?

We are also trying Teppan Edo this year. My DD choice. I would recommend Garden Grill but their first seating isn't till 4. We really enjoyed their food plus the atmosphere is excellent. Let us know what you choose!
I agree. Garden Grill was a more than decent meal. The character interaction is very cool. We enjoy Teppan Edo as well DD(ad's) favorite!

Out of your choices I've only been to Via Napoli...it's my favorite Table Service in World Showcase. Been there 3 times and every time it's been super tasty!

And UGH...I wish Garden Grill had lunch seatings. :( I always consider it for dinner and it ends up getting cut. Maybe I'll make it there some day.

Having done lunch and dinner at all three I'd say its a pretty close tie between R&C and Via Napoli. Since you're from the UK, hit up Via Napoli. IMO, over the last 4 years (3 visits) to Teppan Edo the food has gone down a bit. Service and show are still good. On the flipside, IMO, Via Napoli and R&C has maintained food quality in addition to service.

I'am the same..From Scotland so why do I want to eat British grub that I can get back home..However last year we had an ADR for Via Napoli as my DS is a pizza lover ( me too ) We ( three of us ) split the Mezzo Metro ( half a metre ) same size as a bus drivers steering wheel. It was awesome..Thin base..Half spicy..Half not..Bottle of house vino..$26.00...And $43.00 for the pizza..Why am I doing this!!! Help!!!Get me a Mezzo Metro pizza...:(

Unless you are really craving what would be some home-cooked food for you, I would skip Rose & Crown. My choice would be Teppan Edo. It's very much like every other cook at your table Japanese place, only with much better service. There will be lots for your little one to watch as dinner is made. I would also recommend Tokyo Dining. They have excellent bento boxes at lunch time. No cooking show though.

Thanks to everyone for all of your comments :) It's really interesting to hear so many varied opinions. I kind of expected there to be one that came out on top, so it just goes to show that my 6 (SIX) years in the WDW wilderness has left me out of the loop a little bit!

Based on some unexpected responses, we've decided to give The Garden Grill a go, and hold out for an early dinner :) This is why I love this forum so much- I get so many ideas for things that would never have even crossed my mind! You guys rock :D

Whoo Hoo! I have enjoyed it every time I have eaten there. If possible ask to sit on the bottom tier, you will be able to see down on to Living with the Land ride. Let us know what you think when you get back!
Yep. I second this. Try to get seated on the lower level on one of the tables that rings the outer edge. The food is served family style there, and is very, VERY good!

Also, the characters are a lot of fun. I don't know it it's due to the size of the venue (it is rather small for a character meal when compared to some of the other places) or what, but I noted they seemed more energetic and came out more often than other character dines that I have done.

You'll most likely see Mickey, Chip, Dale and Pluto.

Definitely Teppan Edo. Just ate there with a two year old as well and it was a great experience. Don't buy the kids plate, just have them share from yours plenty of food for all. The ginger chocolate cake is awesome.

Ooh, thanks for the tips. Will definitely ask for the lower level. Hubby and I are weirdos, and really like Living with the Land, so it would be cool to be able to dine in view of it! :)

Via Napoli- PIZZA! PIZZA!:D
But, Tepan Edo is actually quite good and entertaining. I loved the service from the lady waitresses. We drank quite a bit of the hot green tea. Yummy! Get the steak- it's very tender! Love the steaming onion bit ( they call it Space Mountain).;)
