Ran across this audition notice for Epcot..

Walt Disney Entertainment is seeking male and female performers for a new show coming soon to Epcot. Theme two hosts, who work in tandem are physically active and, in addition to being clever and personable, must also be skilled in scene improvisation.

Any ideas what this would be for? The audition is July 27th.

Sounds to me like some sort of 'street' performance maybe? They're looking for clever performers who can work together and improvise, maybe respond to the crowds and situation or interacting with the crowd (clever and personable?). That's what it suggests to me, considering we've heard of no major new show or such like, and they only want two performers for each show.

EDIT : Thanks for the info again merf!

Could it have something to do with the Kim Possible cel phone test they did earlier this year? Maybe they decided some live action to go with it would be good...

The mural reference is probably to the Body Wars mural. It was nice.

About the actors.. a thought... when Rataouille was touring the big block of cheese, wasn't there a comedy sorta cooking show that they did that had a man and a woman?

i heard that the new soarin queue was going to be interactive... but i'm not sure if that's true or not. from what i've seen of the new queue, it's going to be a HUGE improvement :)

New queue? They just built that thing! What are they doing to it? I haven't seen a post about it before.

As for the audition, it COULD be for WS....we do already have some entertainment in FW (and I know we do in WS, too)...but it would be nice to have some around the entrance...like the hub area in front of the fountain, or just behind the fountain.
Thanks for the info, merf!
