Epcot - 5/17/09

Just got back from a full day in EPCOT.

Got in at 9am, made a beeline for Soarin. Considering that we were one of the first to arrive (no line).

Then hopped over to TT to pick up a fast pass (and off to figment we went)

TT had some delays, but it was a quick in/out.

Finished with most of the rides in FW. (SSE, MS, UOE) We didn't have a wait for anything.

Once we got to Mexico the rain started. First for only about a half hour. Later in the evening (7ish) the rains started again and didn't stop. While the rains were a drag, I think it pushed everyone out of the park. We were able to see every country (except UK and Canada) within about 3 hours time.

I forgot to add. . .

We spent some time in Innovations (free picture) and the kids played in the new piggy bank exhibit. And by kids I mean my wife and I as well.

It was really fun. Three entertaining games to teach kids about the value of saving and investing (diversification). The only downer (to my son) was that the bank didn't actually get filled. IMO at the end of the experience the kids should be given something as a reward for saving. Maybe a sticker or something.
