EPCOT 1980,s video touch screen

On the post was a video screen and I think a touch screen, my father who speaks fluent welsh asked for a CM who could speak his home language, to our amazement they did after a short wait ! We were very impressed .

Yes, everytime I've tried looking, I've found a person who at least spoke a little Welsh in Epcot, usually in the Shop for some reason.

The WorldKey Information kiosks were so ahead of their time, and just so much fun back when EPCOT Center was in its heyday. Just part of the overall charm of the park. Gawd I miss those heady, early days. Future World really was just that.

Of course these days, people just use the Disney Experience app or whatever on their smartphones. :/

I think it was a lot easier for Epcot to be futuristic back then because technology moved so much more slowly.

And I bet the tourists were a bit more patient and had better manners too!
