It all depends on what you want to do at DHS. Since Fast Passes will probably be gone by the time you get there, TSM is gonna cost you at least an hour in the standy by line. Probably 2 hours. If you have to do Fantasmic, then you will probably line up early for that, so there goes another chunk of time. If you sit down to eat...another hour. So right there you could have already spent 4 hours and went on one ride and one show.
If you are going to skip TSM and Fantasmic! and a sit down meal, then you just gave yourself 3-4 hours to go on other rides/attractions.
If you are doing TOT and RR, then get the FP for one and go stand by for the other. Then you can get off of one and on to the other.
Do you want to see Block Party Bash? Then you will spend at least 30 minutes there if you show up just in time and leave right after.
If you give a little more info on what you want to do while there, I'm sure many people will give their opinions.

Well if you go in at 2pn, you've essentially got 10 hours to fit everything in which, apart from TSM I don't think you'll have a problem.

Just remember most attractions at DHS are shows or longer rides. The experiences take 15-30 minutes once you're inside, so be sure to prioritize. If you plan on taking time for a sit down meal and want to see Fantasmic - you might want to book a Fantasmic seating package so you can save the time in that line. If you are on the DDP it is a regular TS credit.

If you want to see Fantasmic, the theater opens an hour & a half before the first show of the night. If there are two shows, the theater is usually opened for the second show about 30-45 minutes before the second one, but I think it really depends on how quickly everyone leaves the theater for custodial to do a quick once over.
