We're going down in January but my extended family is planning a reunion of sorts during the summer. Since some of the children are in high school, we have to go when the kids are on break so we thought the end of August would be a good option (around the 20th).
Aside from one family who says it isn't so bad, I know better. I know it's going to be brutally hot and it's going to rain buckets in the afternoon every day.
My question is this. Which resort do you experts think will be the best as far as pools go for a large group (I'm campaigning for G. Floridian but we're taking votes and a few are wanting the Contemporary/BayLake Tower). Also, is the last week of August traditionally slower than than the beginning of August?
