End of August trip?

I'm getting really excited for my trip from August 19th to the 29th. I know it will be super, incredibly, stunningly hot, but I was wondering what are the crowds like around then? I'd appreciate any advice you've got. Thank you so much!

It should be settling down or start to be. Depends on when schools get back in. Usually though it starts to settle down in crowds.

Schools in the Miami and Ft Lauderdale area start on the 19th, so you definitely won't have to deal with people from South Florida. We will be there from the 13th through the 18th for my son's birthday.
