I'm trying to book a vacation for the end of April thinking spring breaks are over and everyone is back in school. I can't get a reservation for GF, Poly, BC or anything. Is there some kind of big event or is this a busy time?

End of April busy??

We went the last week of April in 2007 and it was a little bit crowded but, still manageable. There were ALOT of cheerleader/dance groups because of a competition and then the schools started rolloing in for Grad. Nite, which now has many students from states other than Florida. There were many, many unsupervised teens on the loose so be warned, especially if you are staying at a value resort!

We've gone the last week of April for the last two years and it has been great. MUCH less crowded than our recent January trip during the week of MLK day.

Also great...very similar to end of April as far as crowds go, perhaps even a little bit less crowded. Stays that way until you approach Memorial Day.
