End date for HHOE?

Hi folks,

Originally the HHOE celebration was set for 18 months, starting 05/05/05. This would take it to November where it would immediately hand it over to the Christmas Season.

Can anyone nearer the 'original magic est. 1955 :animwink: , confirm if the celebration is continuing thru the autumn, well at least thru September.

Would like to see Remember and Parade of Dreams one more time before it goes.

Current buzz around the Mouse watercooler says it ends October 1st. I also hear that the Disneyland Cast Members receive their new post-50th nametags then as well, so it looks like the 50th will come down, and the Halloween decos will go up, with HM getting the holiday overlay then as well...

Word is that Remember is gone for good after a Halloween FW show starts this fall. The Xmas parade usually starts late Nov., but haven't heard anything about a PoD replacement. The 45th parade stayed around forever.

Word is, unofficial but from reliable posters on another board, that there will be a Halloween FW show, then a Xmas one that may or may not be the one from the past, and then a new show. I was surprised since these shows tend to stick around awhile. Apparently, they want a show without the crowd control issues caused by some viewing locations not just being better, but vastly superior to others. I think some rides have to close for pyro being launched off the roof as well, which they'd like to eliminate. Looking forward to finally seeing it in August, and glad we'll have several opportunities.
