Just got back from the parks, and the Tiki Room looks AWESOME. It's in great shape! And it was packed, too. Shows were full... with a line that went out into the hub! Part of that was probably some of the MouseAdventure crowd, but the show was certainly popular today.

Did anyone know that the Tiki Room is the only attraction with Walt Disney's name on it...that Walt wanted the Tiki Room attraction so badly that he put his own personal money into it to assure its opening???

Carousel was first done for the Worlds fair...Tiki was original to Disneyland

Is anyone else living on the East Coast angry that Disneyland has a nice, classic Enchanted Tiki Room while we've got one under new management (which I dislike, btw)?

So DL still has the normal Enchanted Tiki Room even after the refurbishment. Well, can they bring it back to Florida? Did Florida's need the change?

It looks great! The thing that the Tiki room has needed all these years to draw people in, is the eye candy. The torches and neat looking sign do just the trick!
