These pictures were taken before christmas, and I'm finally getting around to posting them. They're not Disney, but they are still cool. I went into eat dinner at the enchanted oak tree 5 minutes before the park was about to close and spent about an hour in the resturant. When I was done, I was one of the 8 guests in the park at that time, and all of the othere people were in the Port of entry section (according to a security guard that followed us out). It was a very creepy experience, I just wish the rides were open!!!

Hehe, I got to see Cedar Point like that once, at 12:15 AM. Another time at Paramount's King's Island. Walking through a closed, empty park is always a cool experience!

On Valentine's day, me and my chick had reservations at Alfredo's in Epcot right before they closed. I think we got out around 11pm, and the entire park was empty but all the lights and music were still on. I wonder if they leave it on all night. We walked all the way from the back of the park to the front, didn't have a security escort or anything. Just saw a couple maintenance people. It was like they left it all on for us, really cool.

Our family had that happen once. We ate at, wht was then the Land Grille Room" at the VERY end of the night, watched Illuminations through the skylights, and had to get escorted out by security. As for the lights and music...I think it usually depends. Some nights they'd turn off stuff like the Ewok Village noise and lights outside Star Tours. Other nights they wouldn't. I can tell you for a fact though that NOTHING gets turned off until park clear (when they KNOW the last guest is out of the park and they've locked all the main gates).

They were probably waiting for you to leave the park, because after illuminations they have to do a final blow out of the gas line. And they can't do that until every single guest has completely left the park.

Hmm.. well we weren't the last to leave the restaurant, I was surprised they just let us walk out. It is a LONG walk as everybody knows :)
That reminds me of one time last year it started POURING right before illuminations so it was cancelled, and it didn't let up for like 45 minutes so everybody wouldn't head for the exits, they all stayed huddled inside. When we finally headed out, we were at the front of the park and they started setting off illuminations. We wished we had stayed inside longer! But I guess they have to dump the whole show if they don't get to run it? I don't remember if there was music or not.

Thats what it looked like the morning I was there. 30 min after the park opened too and no one was there. It was right near Christmas too!
