Emily - Guest Services DCL

We were on the Disney dream from 11/27-12/1

There were a few occasions we had to go to guest services, and most of the time we had the pleasure of dealing with Emily.

One of the times we went was after an absolute disastrous excursion.

I was fuming, it was such a terrible experience, I was angry and my fiancée was crying.

Emily was so kind, warm, and friendly, there was no way it couldn't rub off.

She is the epitome of everything that any Disney cm should strive to be.

Every single time we dealt with her, she had that smile on her face, always ready to help.

Not sure if she can read this, but thanks Emily!

So glad you recieved such great service. That's so nice to hear...can't help but be nosey and ponder the bad excursion and what happened!

So we did the aquaventure at Atlantis, that's the famous waterpark behind the hotel

First, we got on the lazy river, it was anything but lazy! they had this intense flow in the water, seconds after getting on, I hit my shoulder into the wall that I had surgery on earlier in the year.

When we got off the lazy river, we were looking for our stuff, described to a T what buildings were around, spoke to 3 different employees, got 3 different sets of directions. we were walking around for over an hour!

when we went to get our inclusive lunch, we couldn't even get drinks cause there were bees at the soda fountain, and the one behind the counter wasn't working

a gust of wind blew my hot dog right out of my hand and the employee refused to replace it, saying it'd throw off their inventory

and their ground was really weird to walk on, it felt like walking on wet clay, and my fiancée slipped and hit her back on the stairs, 2 employees were standing right there and didn't move a muscle.

that was the straw that broke the camels back for me, I flipped, we went back to the ship. and thank goodness we ran into Emily. Cause earlier that cruise, we had a not so nice cm at guest services, and if I would've had to deal with him again, I would've lost it and knowing my temper, probably used not so magical language! :mad:

Oh my!!! I am really glad Emily was able to help you because that sounds awful! We went on the Dream for our honeymoon in April and cancelled that excursion in favor of hiring a moped on the island and driving over for a wander around Atlantis, not I am so glad we did but even happier that Emily fixed that for you!

That sounds pretty fun. But atlantis really did take a lot out of us.

After that, my fiancée and I have zero desire to ever go back to Nassau.

But at least Emily was there! She virtually saved the trip for us.
