On July 3rd, 2005, there will be an Evening Extra Magic Hours showing of Fantasmic for Disney Resort guests at 12am (technically July 4th) in addition to the two prior showings at 9pm and 10:30pm that night.

Extra shows of Playhouse Disney and Millionaire that night as well, along with Sound Dangerous (lets go be the only people in line for it!)

I have a silly question. :hammer: We're staying on property and were wondering how the EMHs work. To take part in EMH, do we have to be in the parks (to get our braclets) before the closing time for non-property guests or can we walk into like MGM/Disney Studios at 11 p.m. just to go see Fantasmic (as long as we show them our AP and hotel key cards)? I just wanted to get my head straight and plan our first night at WDW. 1 day and 14 hours to go! :sohappy: Thanks much!!!

As I understand it - entry to rides and shows is by wristband only - you need your room key / AP to collect your wristband - therefore you need to be in the park before closing

I was there a few weeks ago and Sounds Dangerous was open during EMH, and there was a good crowd there, about half full. I enjoy the show, but once I see it, it is one of those things where I didnt need to do it again for a while. (seen it twice... 1999 and 2005)

Sorry for double posting, but you do not need to be in the park before "regular" closing. To get into the park after "regular" closing you will need to show your resort ID, and then go a wristband location. Also, and AP will not do you any good in line for a wristband. The signs say you must show resort ID and park ticket, but I was only asked for resort ID.

Since the AP is their park ticket, they will have to have it with them in addition to the disney hotel key.

Shortly after "closing" they just start distributing the bands at the park gate (and possibly keeping the distribution points in the park open too, but i wouldnt count on it) so as you swipe you AP to get in they'd have you show your room card and get a wristband all at once.

I bet a few skilled turnstyle CM's can put the wrist band on you while you're working the biometic machine.
