On July 3rd, 2005, there will be an Evening Extra Magic Hours showing of Fantasmic for Disney Resort guests at 12am (technically July 4th) in addition to the two prior showings at 9pm and 10:30pm that night.

I have a silly question. :hammer: We're staying on property and were wondering how the EMHs work. To take part in EMH, do we have to be in the parks (to get our braclets) before the closing time for non-property guests or can we walk into like MGM/Disney Studios at 11 p.m. just to go see Fantasmic (as long as we show them our AP and hotel key cards)? I just wanted to get my head straight and plan our first night at WDW. 1 day and 14 hours to go! :sohappy: Thanks much!!!

As I understand it - entry to rides and shows is by wristband only - you need your room key / AP to collect your wristband - therefore you need to be in the park before closingCheryl said:

To get into the park after "regular" closing you will need to show your resort ID, and then go a wristband location. Also, and AP will not do you any good in line for a wristband. The signs say you must show resort ID and park ticket, but I was only asked for resort ID.

Shortly after "closing" they just start distributing the bands at the park gate (and possibly keeping the distribution points in the park open too, but i wouldnt count on it) so as you swipe you AP to get in they'd have you show your room card and get a wristband all at once.
I bet a few skilled turnstyle CM's can put the wrist band on you while you're working the biometic machine.
