Email still begin sent

Hey recently I noticed my inbox was beginning flooded with notification emails, so I unchecked the box to send emails but the email are still being sent

I'm noticing this, too. I've tried unchecking all the settings that look like they'll turn this off, but I'm still getting spammed to hell and back.

What type of emails are you receiving?

I'm getting the e-mails that give me the first new reply to any forum thread I'm watching. I've tried unchecking the "...and send me an e-mail" option under notifications, but it's not helping.

And because I haven't yet said it... Thank you!

You have likely set preferences and that has only stopped receiving emails for new content. For existing content you need to visit the Watched Link and then disable email notifications for threads and forums that are already watched.
