Email Pin Code Question

I just received an email containing a pin code for a discount off Value resorts for various weeks during 2009. It doesn't state that it is for a package so I'm assuming it's that percent off rack rates. Is it possible to have the pin code applied to a package that includes park tickets and possibly the dining plan?

I got it too....read the fine print at the bottom...it says ask about packages, Moderates, Deluxe....so you must be able to get a deal on the packages also...call and find out!

yep, Canadian....the ironic part is....I've been waiting years to get a pincode...finally when I get one, we just bought Disney Vacation Club last month!! So...unfortunately, I won't be able to use the long-awaited pin. But....congratulations to all my fellow Canucks if you are able to use it!!

Must be targetting Americans who grew up watching Hockey Night in Cananda as well, as I received one. 40% off Value.

Hmmmm...got one all the way in Texas...

...but I DID visit Quebec for a field trip in high school! lol....Disney really DOES know everything.....

the 40% off is for specific dates and it's off the standard rate (still a good deal...), and there is a 'planning calendar' free for downloading as well that shows when all the dates are for the year.

Unless something changed it is just off the rack rate on room only. Which is still better then going for a package most of the time.

We were planning on going in the beginning of may, but might switch now to get the discount to the end of may..
I know it will be hotter but what will the crowds be like??

Why do I NEVER get these things  :brick:

I feel your pain. I have never gotten one, either.

And yes, I signed up on disneyworld.com, ordered the planning DVD, etc. Oh well. Luckily there have been plenty of other discounts out there that we've taken advantage of. (Disney Visa cardholder, AP, and bounceback)

Although not all PIN direct mail offers will offer an upgrade to a Magic Your Way Package, most will. Simply ask when you call with your PIN code.

I'm registered at Disney.com, ordered planning DVD's, have visited three times since 2004...and I don't even get a 'hi, how are you?' email from Disney, never ever ever??!! Do those lucky people with pins get regular emails from Disney? If so, how often?

I called the number on the email last night and booked myself a package for May 31 - June 6 at Pop Century! I was able to upgrade my room only to a MYW + basic dining package. The 40% discount was applied to the room portion of the package. I'm saving over $300 with this pin code :sohappy:.
