"What's that blinking in the corner of your eye? That's your career dissipation light. It just kicked into overdrive."

EDIT: Thought I would add this because it amused me: "Eisner drew a laugh by thanking Disney and Gold for their presentation and quipping, 'That was a joy.'" Pretty arrogant for a guy who was about to have his power cut in half, wouldn't ya say?

I don't know if that was arrogant or realistic. I know that whenever I get dressed down by someone (not all that often if you can believe it) I make a comment like "That was enjoyable" or something similar.

First, had to get past the image of "Eisner Stripped" in the thread title. Eww.:hurl: Secondly, as to whether he's arrogant or not, his tone at different times in the meeting did come off arrogant for a man who was about to get his butt whooped. However, I think he did well overall dealing with the situation. Whose to say that if one of us were in that situation we wouldn't just collapse to the floor in the fetal position crying with thumb in mouth screaming, "I want my mommy!!!!!"

You're right. He had to stand there before all of those people knowing that his career with Disney might be about to end. He was tired and not feeling very well. I think he kept it together very well. Was he arrogant? Yes, at times, but then thats his personality. You wouldn't expect him to change now would you?

Honestly...I don't envy him his position. (money & perks maybe, but not the job)
