I’ve just read a book called “Disney’s Art of Animation. From Mickey Mouse to Hercules”, by Bob Thomas. Content copyright 1992 and 1997
The last two sentences of the book are from a quote of Eisner’s:
”At Disney, Animation is our calling….and our commitment. We salute the long line of Disney Animators whose work speaks so eloquently”
Given recent events in closing the animation facilities, this must mean Eisner has missed his calling and has no commitment. Time to wave bye-bye!
As for the “salute”, I assume he meant the one that involves balling a fist then extending the middle digit.
