Cause all those boxes for moving can be very expensive...and his farewell party (which Eisner will probably throw himself) can't be too cheap.... :lookaroun

Stands to reason that one day I'll be able to say that $300 Million is chump change and really mean it...then again people say I need to be more realistic...  :lookaroun

Executives never seem to feel they owe an explanation. I think that's why the line "Michael Eisner has never had a bad year" went over so well at the shareholders meeting.

BTW - I still can't believe I listened to that whole thing.... :brick:

Eisner deserves his salary and all his perks, even after he's gone, because of what he did 10 years ago. And we can't possibly have a CEO of a big company making a paltry $200k per year, or even $400k per year. That disrupts the 400-1 ratio of CM wages to CEO wages. And that's vitally important to the shareholders and the long-term value.

Besides, how could the board cut his pay when *they* gave it to him? Then they'd look foolish. Like they haven't done that enough lately. :brick:

If your first paragraph had been real I think that even over the internet we would all have been able to smell the brown substance that would have been clinging to your proboscis

After a week since Mike and his cronies imploded, I have to say that I don't think I've seen such a group of people in such deep denial as the Disney Board. Their arrogance and blindness is really just amazing, and I eagerly await the next book written about this whole scenario. And you know they're coming.
