Ecv and uber

Staying offsite and just broke my foot. If I rent a ecv from one of the companies off site (not at the parks) if it is a transportable scooter, it disassembles, will Uber have a problem? Not renting a car. Anyone have first hand knowledge? Thanks.

Latest updates I've seen suggest that service type (UberWAV or Lyft Access Mode) is not available from either Uber or Lyft in the Orlando market. The only option you'd have with them would be if you could personally (or another member of your party) can prepare and load the ECV into an out of a vehicle you could request an Uber XL or similar larger vehicle. However, the issue is the driver cannot be expected to assist in loading or unloading the ECV, someone in your party would need to do it completely on your own.

For the record I'm going to update this thread just in case someone SEARCHES it later as I've have first hand knowledge.

I rented this week a transportable scooter from Apple Scooter however I also found them at Buena Vista Scooters too. To answer the OP question yes Uber X vehicles will accommodate a transportable scooter, XL was not necessary. The arm folds down. The seat pulls off, the battery removes, even the basket comes off. It is smaller than a single large suitcase when broken down. Breaking down after the first try took under 60 seconds. The only vehicle that was tight with all the Ubers were hired was a CUBE, but it did fit and CUBES are not overly standard Ubers.

My suggestion to anyone searching this thread in the future is to watch the YouTube on how to quickly break down the transportable scooter.
