I have emailed Special Diets twice now with no response. We leave in 26 days so I am starting to get very nervous. Has anyone found a list of where and what different restaurants have to offer? We have a 6 year old that needs to eat Gluten and Beef free. Hoping someone can help!

Don't worry!!!!!!!!!!!! Just about every place on property has at least one gluten free option, even the cs. When checking into a ts let the reception person know you have a party member with an allergy! Also do that when ordering at a cs. I've never had a problem!!!!!! Also make sure that is listed on your ADRs.

Special Diets at WDW is incredibly accommodating--I'm sorry you haven't heard back from them yet! My daughter and I both have celiac disease, and our dining experiences at WDW restaurants have been nothing short of spectacular. Just follow the recommendations already mentioned by members above, and everything will be fine! We honestly can't wait to return for the food--we totally felt "normal" there and on a nine-day trip neither of us got sick once, which was truly incredible to us, considering we never eat out at home for that exact reason.

Additionally, there is a gluten free Disney app we found extremely helpful, especially in selecting quick service meals.

If you have ADR's, note on the ADR that you need to speak with the chef (show that you have allergies). If you're doing quick service or whatnot, just ask to speak with the manager wherever you are. They'll be able to answer your questions and get you the appropriate food.

Disney is among the top places I've been that deals with dietary issues.

Eating gluten free in WDW is very easy. In fact, many of the menu items at TS restaurants are GF as is. The CS options aren't that bad either. My wife was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue about 20 years ago and it wasn't until we started traveling to WDW that she started eating real food again. It was one of the main reasons we went back so often. Don't worry that your calls haven't been returned. If you indicated GF on your ADRs, they will be aware of it. As numerous chefs in Disney have said, GF is an easy accommodation. Most servers are well aware of it now, too. Are there specific questions about a restaurant you have an ADR for that I can help with? Best of luck dining and enjoy your trip!

Special Diets typically doesn't get involved for anything less than 4 allergies. However, you should be fine at most restaurants (possible exception of someplace like Hoop Dee Doo due to limited pantry). Any TS location, have "Allergy" notated on your reservation, and confirm with the hostess when you check in. Your waitstaff needs to have the chef come out and talk to you about the allergies and explain possible issues or the waitstaff gets in trouble. At a CS location, ask to see "the book" (listing of every ingredient in the food) or talk with a manager. Some places will have things like separate friers for GF fries, others won't. Depends on the location. Try checking out http://www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com/ for an idea of what you might expect. Also check out the allergy kiosk at AK (assuming its open with all the construction) for more info as well.
