Eating at The Land

This past may my boyfriend and I went to WDW and only had enough time to visit one park so we chose epcot.. we wanted a healthy breakfast so I took him to the land and thought we could get something there...

I was really disappointed at the food area there. It looked so outdated and dirty.. and I thought they updated the place not too long ago.. (but apparently it has been a while).

can anyone tell me when they fixed it up last? and if it's due for another makeover soon? It was so sad.

If you were there in May '06, it had just been renovated the previous year. I was there in May '05 and it had JUST reopened from an extensive renovation. It went from a "midwestern fair" kind of theme to the sleek, more modern and industrial look that it has now. I don't believe it to look outdated, as I just saw it in June. It's quite an improvement over what was there. Well, okay, that's not quite true. It was beloved by many, myself included, but was in need of a clean-up and refurb and incorporating Soarin' provideda good opportunity. :wave:

thanks.. maybe it was just the fact that it looked different than I remembered and I didn't like it. haha.

We ate their twice during our August trip and were really impressed - especially by the healthier options available

i dont know about you guys, but i make a meal out of the strawberries and cream and the chocolate cake served at the dessert place...*mmm*:slurp:
