EASTER WEEKEND CROWDS

Last minute, 2 day trip down to WDW on Good Friday and Saturday. I've never been there at this time, and have been spoiled crowd-wise by typically visiting in September and October.

We are staying on property, and have dining and fastpasses all taken care of. MK is also open pretty darn late both days, thanks to EMH....

Will we be able to cram in everything we "need" to, or will crowds thwart us? Thank you!

Just make the most of it and don't let the crowds defeat you mentally. Have realistic expectations of what attractions/rides you'd like to see and go on. That way you won't be disappointed.

I realise what I'm saying may be of no help to you but that's the advice I give myself when I visit at peak times.

Until my family's last visit, we were only there during Easter weeks. (Both of my parents were teachers. What can ya do?)

I can tell you that the crowds will be heavy, but that with efficient use of rope drop arrivals, EMH, and your Fastpass+ allotment, you should be able to do everything you want to do.

The craziest part of the day is going to be from lunchtime to 4 or 5pm. I highly recommend arriving at rope drop (you'll get more attractions done in the first 2 hours after park opening than you will the rest of the day put together), leaving the parks around lunchtime, lounging at your resort for awhile, and then returning to the parks in the evening, when the worst heat of the day has passed, wait times begin to drop and the crowds begin to dissipate a bit.

Very crowded! Plan on getting to the parks early. Although most sites don't recommend using extra magic hours, I find them helpful to get there before the crowds trickle in around 11am. Have fun anyway!:D

We went over Easter week (also last minute) 2 years ago and to our surprise it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The thing that helped me was having VERY LOW expectations and I was not disappointed. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
