Hi, forum newbie here. I need thoughts and opinions. My family (husband, and two daughters 7 and 1 1/2yr old) are going down with other family for a week and staying at the Contemporary. Planning for AK Sunday, Universal (2in1 day) on Monday, Epcot or HS Tuesday, MK Wednesday and Thursday and Epcot or HS on our departure day Friday.
My daughter wants to do Jedi training so on Tuesday I have an ADR at 8 for H&V to sign her up. But she also wants princesses so I have an ADR for 8 am at Akershus. (Also, have CRT on Wednesday at MK).
My concern is that with so many attractions being closed at HS and the uncertainty of TSMM, would it be worth it to go on Tuesday or should we go Friday? (We have an ADR for 9:10 at H&V that day as well).
We have the DDP.
One side of me thinks, okay, go to HS Tuesday, be done by 2. Enjoy a nice relaxing afternoon at the pool, gearing up for MK the next two days. Use Friday to ride a few main pointers at Epcot and enjoy WS and use up all the remaining snack credits on the deliciousness that’s there.
While the other part of me is saying, squeeze in HS Friday, and enjoy all day at Epcot without worrying of what time you have to leave.
I’m pretty sure typing this out I’ve got my answer but just in case I’m missing something, I’d love your opinion. Will HS be worth it to go on Tuesday or is better to squeeze it in? Or could there even be a possibility that if we go to Epcot Tuesday that we would want to return and go there again instead of HS Friday? (Agh! A third option I just realized).
Our flight is late, like 9:00 pm. So I’m also trying to weigh exhaustion. Late day, end of the week with parks, etc. go big or go home, right?!
