Magic Kingdom has less rides, mainly because some of the rides at disneyland are spread across the other Disneyworld parks. Disneyland has some more themed areas like New Orleans Square, Magic Kingdom doesnt, plus of course there is the awsome Cinderella Castle hear and the horrible Sleeping buety Castle in CA. So those are just some differences!

One noticeable difference, are the themed lands. Disneyland has New Orleans Square, instead of Liberty Square at MK, Disneyland also has an addition to Fronteirland, Critter Country. Fantasyland and Mickey's Toontown are also a little more built up Disneyland than at the MK. With a couple differences in attractions, and a different style castle, they are mostly the same.

Well, neither submarine ride works. DL PotC has two drops and a great restaurant. PS please. DL is more spread out, it has an Indy Jones ride. The WDW HM looks way different on the outside than DL. DL's being more Adams family like. But the similiarities in the two are too numerous to mention. I think DL being more spread out that it is easier to not get caught in a crowd or parade. Then again, the trend in DL is to take the best parts of WDW for those who will never travel further east than Vegas.

There are some different attractions, for example, Disneyland has Indiana Jones Adventure & the Matterhorn. Magic Kingdom has Alien Encounter and the TTA. I think there are some other subtle detail differences in the park as well, many say Disneyland has more of Walt's personal touches. The difference in the castles will be most noticeable, Sleeping Beauty's Castle is definetly not as grand as Cinderella's at MK, but it should be considered that they "belong" to different princesses!!

They are both wonderful parks and I'm sure you're guests will not be disappointed... they are both Disney and both magical.:)

I hear that SPace mountain is different. I enjoy the one in DL because it puts a good amount of G's on you throughout the ride. I know that the Magic kingdom version has better special effects and features DROPS:):):) is it better or worse do you think. and Thank you to everone who replied
