Earthquake in Mexico

I heard on the news today that there was a major earthquake in Southern Mexico. I just wanted to find out if Maria was affected and if she is ok.

So Maria..if you read this...Please let us know if you're OK.
We don't want anything happening to our Discussion Board Beauties.

I´m fine... I actually haven´t heard of an earthquake here! Where was it? I was trying to find something on the news, but they start until 10:00pm, and haven´t had any flash!

Where I live (the peninsula of Yucatan) there are no mountains, it is totally flat, so we don´t have too many natural disasters -thank God!- and we have never experienced an earthquake, and I hope it remains this way...

It was in The Southern state of Chiapas
It had a magnitude of 6.4

wow... that´s a strong earthquake! Thanks for telling me... I have the TV and waiting for the news. I am sure we will be asked for help soon with food and blankets; Chiapas is a huge state with a big jungle in it, in which many poor indians live.
