Early November?

My sister, my son and I will be at WDW November 5-10, '02. How are the crowds then? It is my understanding that the Food & Wine Festival will be going on at Epcot during that time. Is Epcot mobbed with crowds during the festival? We'll only have 4 days for park touring, and I don't want to spend most of the time waiting in line and fighting my way through throngs of people (especially with a very impatient 4 yr. old!).

Thanks! :)

normally that part of Nov are the least crowded ...the weather is good too and very little rain that time of year :) there are fast pass for Test track , Living with the land, and honey I shrunk the audience at Epcot, there are fast passes for all the most popular rides at all the parks so you really wont wait in line much at all

November...fantastic time of year to visit. Crowds will be at a great minimum. As for the wine tasting festival...that will likely be centered in Epcot's World Showcase. In my experience, 4-year-olds don't generally have a lot of patience for World Showcase anyway, so this is an area you'd probably stay away from.

Have a good time!

Well, except for Maelstrom (my son loves this ride!) we probably will stay away from World Showcase. Thanks for the advice! I am just hoping the weather will cooperate - we went in Dec. 2001 and it was in the high 80s every single day and the humidity was awful. Yuck!

We've gone each of the last three years right around Thanksgiving.

99: Highs in upper 70's and lows in low 60's
00: Highs in upper 70's and lows in single digits with wind chill. Stupid Canadian Cold Front!
01: Highs in low 80s and lows in low-mid 60's

We were only rained on once or twice and and that was mild both times and short lived. It seemed to always be either on the first day headed there or the last day on the way back to the airport.

Big plus is that crowds are mediocre except for Thanksgiving weekend when they are average to large.
