Early arrival flight, will the resort hold my luggage?

Yep, we are going in August for our 4th trip and every time we leave Dallas at 6am and get to the resort by 10:30am or so... Makes for a long day but it's worth it to us. Your room may be ready when you arrive, ours was last year. If not, bell services will hold your luggage for you. Do online check in, last year I received a text on the trip from the airport on DME telling us our room was ready.

Enjoy!

Yes - just leave your bags with Bell Services and they'll give you a receipt for them. Once you get your room assignment, you can pick up your bags from Bell Services yourself, or call Bell Services and have them brought to you at your room. (It is a nice gesture to tip the person who delivers them $1/bag.)

Bell Services will also hold your bags on check-out day. For example, if you are heading to the parks for a while after you check out, and returning to your hotel to get your vehicle or catch a ME bus, you can leave them with Bell Services and grab them later. (Again, tips are nice.)

If you use DME they will automatically hold your bags until your room is ready and then deliver them at that point. If you aren't using DME, or your luggage is carryon, bell services will hold whatever you need.

I am arriving in Orlando at 10:40, check in isn't till 3:00pm. Will they hold my luggage for me so I can go to the parks for the remainder of the day?

If using DME DME will hold bags (but they usually take about 4-6 hours to arrive at resort), If not Bell Services is happy to hold them for as long as you like.

Yes
The question is answered already but this goes to all hotels: if a hotel has bell service then you are able to store your luggage until your room is ready.

I think I know the answer, but what if we need to have bags held at a resort hotel *other than the one we stayed at*? Specifically, we're staying at POFQ but are hoping to stow bags at the Contemporary after we check out and walk over to the park for a few hours before getting our rental car to Port Canaveral. Any issues there?

I'm confused...if you have a car, why not keep your belongings in the car after you check out of POFQ? And if you don't have a car, how do you intend to get your bags to the Contemporary? Bell Services will not transport them for you unless you have a Contemporary resort reservation. And you cannot take luggage on the buses.

Sorry, I didn't explain that very well. We were planning on taking Uber to the Contemporary, dropping our bags there, getting breakfast at the Contempo Cafe, then walking to MK for the Welcome Show; then, after a few hours in the park, walking back to the Contemporary, picking up our bags, and taking the Car Care Center shuttle to pick up our rental from National.

Gotcha. You should have no issues with storing your bags at the Contemporary since you don't have to prove you are a resort guest. Just remember to tip the handlers! :)
