Just wanted to let all the Northeast drivers know that central Florida toll plazas now accept E-Z Pass!! This took effect September 1st. I knew it would just be a matter of time...
Yes, but the way I look at it, it's a MAJOR step in the right direction and you know Disney has been putting pressure on the state to accept E-Z pass at all it's toll roads with the large amount of northeastern guests.Just a note, but this is only for Central Florida Expressway Authority roads, so E-ZPass is not accepted on the Florida Turnpike.
The Feds have been trying to do exactly that since at least 2015 with FL notoriously thumbing their nose at the requirements.Yes, but the way I look at it, it's a MAJOR step in the right direction and you know Disney has been putting pressure on the state to accept E-Z pass at all it's toll roads with the large amount of northeastern guests.
You would think FL would jump at the chance to join the consortium, and allow acceptance of not only the E-Z pass in their state, but it would allow their drivers to use it up and down the eastern seaboard...they're probably not getting a big enough cut from the consortium to give up theirs to accept ours. It WOULD make life a LOT easier for everyone. The Feds have been trying to do exactly that since at least 2015 with FL notoriously thumbing their nose at the requirements.
