e-tickets & RIFD cards

Hi,

We are staying off site and have e-tickets. I know that I need to get these switched to either an RIFD card or a MagicBand. Where/when can I do this? I'd rather NOT do it the first day we will enter the parks (Saturday). Can I do it the day before (Friday)?

Go onto Disney's website and follow the links for "My Disney Experience". Once there, create an account and then use the ticket serial numbers to link them to your account

From Disney's website -
You will receive a MagicBand if you stay at a Disney Resort hotel or you are a Walt Disney World Passholder. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel and are not a Passholder, you will receive a card when you purchase park admission—and you have the option to purchase a MagicBand at Disney theme parks and Downtown Disney area.

Yes, you'll have to get a physical ticket before using it to enter the parks. That can be done at any ticket window or park Guest Relations, and yes it can be before your first day in the parks.

If you're in the Epcot resorts area you can walk over to the International Gateway to pick up the ticket. if you're near Downtown Disney you can stop by Guest Relations either in the Marketplace or at DisneyQuest on the West Side.

Unfortunately I don't think Disney resort front desks can process most of those e-tickets.

If you want to buy a Band, you may want to have the RFID ticket in-hand first to make linking it easier.
