E Ticket Nights

We will be checking in at the All Star Sports on 3/21/03.
This is an E Ticket night at MK. This is our families third WDW
vacation, but the first time our boys are both old enough to brave a late night.
This will be our first E Ticket Night, so any advice, or
observations, would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not, but you do have to use a regular admission to the Magic Kingdom to participate in E-Ride Night. Are you arriving early enough on the 21st to do so? If you are arriving in the afternoon the E-Ride night might not be worth it. However if your arriving early enough or have an annual pass then enjoy the Night!! E-Ride Nights are a blast!!

We are leaving from Universal HRH that afternoon, we already have 4 day park hoppers paid for I plan on grabbing 4 E Ticket coupons (12$ ?) picking up our park hoppers and heading straight to MK how late in the afternoon would be too late
3/21 is our only chance for an E ticket night this trip so it'll be
worth a little hustle and jumping through a few hoops
Thanx

Be sure to get your E-Ride Night tickets at the hotel when you check in as that's the only place they will be available.

You just need to be in the Magic Kingdom before it closes that night with Park Hoppers and E-Ride tickets in hand. Once inside, your entire party needs to exchange the E-Ride tickets for wristbands. The CM's have to physically put it on each person so don't send one person into the line to get them for everybody. You should be able to do this at the Tour Garden next to City Hall on the left (west) side of Town Square on Main Street just after you pass below the WDW Railroad.

Just to let you know, you MUST be staying on Disney property and purchase the E Tickets from the hotel which you are staying at. Some people try and sneak a ticket, but they usually make you show your room key or some document proving that you are staying at the hotel.

Thanx for the input. We are staying at a resort. I'm psyched we don't have to rush it'll be easier to get the kids out of IOA after a few rides and what better way to start at WDW than a late friday night at MK on our favorite rides
DISNEY ROCKS!

E-ride nights are great! I just did one a few weeks ago. If you have true park hoppers and not length of stay, it may not be worth it to waste a day of your park hopper. If you don't get there til early evening, that could be a waste of a whole day you could use at another time. If you have length of stay passes, go for it, since you've already paid for it in your package. Adult tickets are now $12., and I think children are $10. Have a great time....e-rides are great, I'm just dissapointed they aren't having one when we are there in two weeks!:(

To save yourself time and walking, plan to hit either all the Tomorrowland attractions together, or all the Magic Kingdom West attractions. Since Fantasyland is closed you'll have to cross the hub back and forth a bunch of times if you switch b/w Space Mountain and Big Thunder. Also, if you have some time- which you probably won't if you want to ride the attractions as much as you can, take the time to just sit in the hub and take in Cinderella Castle and all the musical and pixie dust beauty that goes along with it. Also the characters ocassionally make appearences around the hub on E-Ride nights as well. If you have small children, the lines aren't long at all, and we got our photo with both Mickey and Minnie together. Quite a lovely, quiet evening. Even a bit romantic for the couples out there. We absolutely loved it! HAVE FUN!!!!:D

We just did the E-ride night on the 11th. It was a lot of fun.. not super busy, line waits were 5 to 10 minutes, if that.. it was cool cause a ride like Big Thunder Mountain is completely different in the dark!!! You can't see where you're going which makes it so much better!!! I don't know if I would waste one of your 4 days on the hopper ticket just to do it.. but if you're going to be at the park anyways, then it's definately worth it!!!
