E-Ride Nights in August

E- ride nights end Aug 13. We will be going about the same time as you and will miss out as well. E-ride nights are only done during peak attendance, which according WDW lasts until mid-August. A lot of schools go back around then so there is a slight drop in attendance.

I went on the e-ride night last Friday and was NOT impressed. I think you get a lot more by going to the early entry park. By park closing most of the other guests are tired and cranky and boy was it crowded compared to early entry I've done in the past!! I rode four rides in two hours (and paid $12 for the opportunity).

Thanks. You made me feel better. I was disappoointed that I was going to miss E-nights. You're right, though. Early entry will accomplish the same thing, is free and probably a lot less crowded.

We did E ride nights on Monday (July 19) and it was great. We rode all the rides once, and the mountains at least twice and rode Big Thunder 4 times without having to get off the ride. We stayed the full 3 hours, so maybe that is the key. We watched Wishes @ 10 and it was probably 10:30ish before we even started riding.

Be sure in inquire when you check-in. The schedules are subjest to change. In 1999 we were there the end of August and there was an unscheduled e-ride night during our stay. We had a great time and the best part in August was that it was cooler in the evening!

I am taking this from Bob Sehlinger's Unofficial Guide to WDW.You must be a resort guest and possess a multi-day pass. The cost is $12 and allows you to stay in the parks and ride the "premium rides " ( Space Mt., Splash Mt,Buzz Lightyear, HM, BTMR, Country Bear Jamboree and Tommorowland Transit Authority with little or no wait, but I assume you have read some of the other posts and found out the short lines are not always the case.. Also seasonal and annual passports are included in this eligibility. I have never done an E-night because the program was not in existence the last time I went and I had a young child then. I believe you purchase a voucher at Guest Relations in the park. I'm not sure if you can buy them at your hotel. I'm sure someone else can elaborate. There are also only certain nights that are E-ride nights. For more info you can go to Allearsnet.com.E-ride nights officially end for the season on Aug 13, but according to another post, there may be an unscheduled E-night, so ask at your hotel when you check in.
