E-RIDE night JUNE 11

I have never been to an E-ride night before, but we are planning on attending on June 11. When hours for MK were first posted on the official WDW site, they gave 6/11 as 9-9, no showing of Spectromagic and Wishes at 9.

A few weeks ago, they changed it to show open from 9-10, with Spectromagic at 9pm and Wishes at 10.

When I spoke to a Disney rep while making PS, he said the E-ride night on the 11th was scheduled until midnight only, but that on the 9th and 14th it was scheduled until 1 am (those nights the park closes at 10). He did not know why it showed only until 12 on the 11th, when the park was open until 10. But the original hours posted for the 9th and 14th also was 9-10.

My question is this...is E-ride ALWAYS 3 hours after park closing or has it at times been only 2 hours. And if it is only 2 hours, do you think it is still worth it?

If we skip the E-ride attractions during the day and save those for the E-ride night, would it be realistic to be able to do all of them without much wait during that 2 or 3 hour period?

Thanks for your help!

My brother and I will also be participating in the E-Night on the 11th. Who knows, maybe we will bump into you. This is our 4th e-night and from all my knowledge, it is always 3 hours after the park closes.

As for the rides, you are in for a treat.

We were able to do...

Space - once
Alien - once (no longer there)
Buzz - twice
Haunted - once
country bear - once
big thunder - 3 times, then it started raining
splash - at least 5 times
We ate some ice cream on main street
Met with some characters
Sat on main street a bit, and still left with an hour to go. We could have done so much more but our legs wouldn't carry us any farther. It was the last day of our trip.

No matter what you do, hope you have a good time.

To my knowledge, e-Rides are always three hours long. It seems likely that since they tacked on an hour to the park hours that someone just didn't change the times for e-Rides... I'd plan for it to be three, unless this is something new this year (which is entirely possible, considering they've been gone for so long). But anyway, I'd shoot for three.

Thanks for the help! I hope it is 3, but sounds like even if it is 2 hours, we should be able to do most everything during that time. We are coming down with about 90 people from our dance studio. (25 dancers, the rest are family). They are performing with Magic Music Days at Epcot on June 10, so we were hesitant to do the E-ride on the 9th (wanted them at their best on the 10th!). I know about 1/2 of our group is planning on attending the E-ride, so it should be a lot of fun. I just hope it doesn't rain out...just saw the 7 day forecast. But I hear this forecast of scattered thunderstorms is typical of Florida and that they usually don't last long.

We leave for our 24 hour drive tomorrow!!

Actually, there are 90 people total in the group, but I'm guessing at least 1/2 of them aren't doing the E-ride nights, so it will only be about 40-45 of us at most. Most of the families have infants and toddlers and didn't want to be up that late, so it shouldn't be a problem. :p

But you better put on your running shoes, just in case:lol:
