E-nights

How far in advance do they post the e-night scheduels? We are going in May for 10 days and are keeping our fingers crossed that we will hit them at least once. It seems thats the best way for the kids to ride their favorites.

E-ride nights

As of right now, Disney has not published any e-ride nights past this friday the 22. As we get closer to spring break that may change. However, keep in mind that they were all eliminated post 9/11 and the ones that have been scheduled are only announced a couple of weeks at most in advance.

e-ride nights

CM's at Disney told my friend and her family that you had to be staying on Disney property...ie All-Stars to Grand Flo. etc. Also you had to be using at least a 4 day park hopper not individual tickets (but does anyone use individual tics anymore?). That was in Jan. has anyone else heard of this? Wont effect us because we are staying onsite but it would effect those not onsite wanting to go. They told her it was one of the perks since they didn't do early entry anymore and were getting loads of complaints about that too!

Heading for the great escape.
I went to an e ride night last summer the Best $15 i ever spent. It is only available to guests staying at WDW resorts, and you haveto have regular Parl admission tickets. I got mine from the resort checkin desk. Best surprise 4 trips on Thunder mountain without having to get off (its even better in the dark). worst surprise still having a sizeable wait for Space mountain. Best bit for kids being in a park REALLY late!

The E-Ride nights are great. For 12 dollars it is well worth it.

To clariffy how it works...

You must go to Guest Services and purchase tickets for the E-Ride night you want. They will give you tickets which you have to trade in at 1 of 3 locations in the Magic Kingdom (Tomorrowland Arcade, Splashdown Photos, and an area near the entrance on Main Street). They will give you a wristband and that is your pass to ride the selected open rides all night.

We rode Space Mountain 4 times in under 45 minutes. It was great.

My advice is to do something easy that day. Go to AK in the morning and then come back to the hotel to relax for the rest of the day. Have Dinner and then get back to the MK about 30 minutes before the Park Closes. Go to the ticket change locations near Splash Mountain or Space Mountain (the lines are usually shorter).

Thats almost exactly how we did it in 1999 and the kids made it through the entire night...we did have to carry the youngest one back to the hotel room asleep but at 3 years old what can you expect after midnight. We also got some great photos of the kids in front of the castle changing colors with the characters...the main ones like Mickey, Minnie, Chip N Dale etc. Are the characters still about in the evenings on enights? It is really worth the extra money...the kids didn't get off Buzz Light Year til they were tired of it!

Last Monday (Mar 11) was an E nite. It went till 1 in the morning, it was great. The weather was warm, and a very low crowd, some stores stayed open, and there was no lines at the rides, maybe a small one at buzz lightyear, but nothing to complain about.

Last time I checked in January they had cancelled E-Ride Nights. I hope that is not the case!!! I would love to attend an E-ride night.
As far as I know, you pay a fee, 10-15 and ride certain attracations, but you must have been in a disney park that day and have had your hand stamped for re-entry!!!
