So, the new cast is to be announced during the Bachelor finale. It seems that DWTS is keeping a tight lid on this years contestants, because I can't seem to find info anywhere. What I have found, via LA Times, is it's rumored that Evan Lysacek (Olympic gold medalist) and Pamela Anderson are rumored to be contestants this year.

The article also states that Lacey Schwimmer and co-host Samantha Harris will not return. Very bummed about this.

Well it didn't say they were to be on the show but instead were apparently being considered, ABC is usually pretty tight lipped about who they put on DTWS up till the very last moment, I think one of the cast members did leak to people magazine last year, and if I remember correctly ABC was very upset about it. I'm surprised about Lacy not coming back she and Julianne were by and far my favorite female dancers, she must of been offered another pretty lucrative offer to not come back....

Well, apparently there was some truth to the rumors. Evan Lysacek, Pam Anderson, and Kate Gosselin were all correct. Kinda bummed about no Topanga. I hope Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson is the first to go. He's right up there with Terrell Owens in my dislike category. I missed the 11th celeb as I had to leave for work.

Also, very pleased with Melissa Rycroft as the new co-host. Looking forward to the start of the season!
