I am trying to convert the WDW Vacation DVD to AVI so I can play with it in Nandub and eventually create it as DivX.

Anyone have some help. I am hitting the wall all morning using a host of packages. Nothing can get me to that final AVI format.

I have DVD Decrypter. I have extracted some of the VOBs. I have not tried converting to ISO, but can.

I am stuck at VOB and unable to find a program to go from there.

Well I dont know if you have this or access to this, but I use Vegas Video from Sonic Foundry. Its not the cheapest program but it works great. YOu just import direct from the DVD player and then you can edit and I believe you can export it as an AVI.

Yet another topic that walks the line of Legailty..

As stated strictly on ANY DVD....ANY duplications (such as turning into an AVI) is strictly prohibited by law. So Im afraid i have to close this topic.

Please note:: A lot of people think im being a bit "power hungry" or mean by being so strict with threads like this...keep in mind this is what I am here to do. In NO way does this reflect my personal views on topics such as this. Personally..I wish the laws would be changed to let me legally make copies of movies in which i rightfully bought. The law IS the law however, and because of that, I must "enforce" it on here to keep Steve out of trouble.
