DVD Question

Im not really sure where to put this thread so i decided to go here with it, but does anyone know where you can get Mickey's Christmas Carol DVD or if they even have it. Ive been searching all over and I am never able to find it. Ive asked at WDW in my past trips and they just tell me that its not available at the moment. So does that mean its in the vault and they just release it when they want? If someone could give me some help with this, I would appreciate it.

There are now two generally available (as in, Wal-Mart, Target, etc) DVDs that have assorted Disney Christmas stuff on it. I'm pretty sure one of them has Mickey's Christmas Carol on it. I believe the name is something like "classic Christmas tales" or something similar. The contents of the DVD are listed on the back.

I am pretty sure I saw it at Wal-mart last Christmas. I could be wrong....

I haven't seen it on DVD. Only on VHS. I think it was released in like 1983 so I'm surprised that if it was a decent Disney title that they wouldn't have it on DVD.
I have seen the so called DVD version on Ebay but those are actually bootleg VCDs. Any titles coming form the Phillipines, suspect that they are nothing more than copies from VHS that have realistic packaging but they are less than decent quality as well as illegal copies.
I suspect that Disney doesn't have this title on DVD alone and that, as stated by brknews, you may find it on some Disney Christmas compilation... Good Luck :wave:

It's available on DVD as part of one of the Disney Treasures series - Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Volume 2. I believe it's out of general release now, but I just looked on Amazon and they had some listed as new or used by private sellers starting at $23. I'm sure you could find it on EBay, too.

P.S. It's in widescreen, too, and also has on it "The Prince and the Pauper" and "Runaway Brain," among many others. Definitely worth it.
