The new DVDs out on September 2 included SPECIAL EDITIONS of "The Apple Dumpling Gang," "Escape to Witch Mountain," and "Return from Witch Mountain," each done with the same thoroughness that was done for the earlier Vault Disney releases ("Old Yeller," "Pollyanna," "Swiss Family Robinson," and "Parent Trap").
I don't know if any of you saw any of these Vault Disney special editions, but the special features were some of the best I have ever seen. Chock full of interviews and "making of" segments, many bringing back members of the original cast for commentary on screen as well as in commentary soundtracks to the movie.
These are GREAT for FANS of these old movies, and the prices are still good. Buy them if you can, and Disney will see the value of taking the time to make such nice special editions, with so many features that reunite the old casts! (And hear their wisdom and views today on working with Disney so many years ago.)
