Maybe some of you insider know, but how are the sales going on the Towers? I am thinking that if the sale fast another on the monorail will be coming soon.

Based on the incentives being offered, BLT is selling better than the other available properties (AKV, SSR and VGC). That being said, I think sales are down overall from this time last year.

There were alot of DVC owners on a wait list for when this was announced, I know we were. We had told DVC that we would definltey be interested in an add-on on the monorail, and we got our call about it when the annnouncement was made. We already had our BWV points and did not want to add on anywhere else in WDW unless it was on the monorail.

I am sure this is way ahead of any other offerings becuase of location, location, location - always the major factor in this type of transaction.

DVC has to legally "declare" units into the condo association before they can sell the points. Based upon those declarations (which are a matter of public record), I don't believe they have even sold half of the resort yet.

My money is still on a second CR Tower as the next DVC resort. That South Garden Wing is just begging to be torn down. :ROFLOL:

Another monorail resort would be great but where would they put it? Maybe they will just add on to GF or PR next. That would be cool!

If 85% of the first tower have already sold, I am sure a second tower might be in the works as soon as possible.

Bay Lake Tower is currently 84% sold according to my DVC guide Michael Collier. He told us when we went to visit him about three weeks ago while at SSR.

He said AKV isnt selling as quickly anymore

I agree! Disney's Polynesian Villas would be so fantastic! I would have no choice but to purchase another resort if villas were ever added to Polynesian. Though it probably isnt likely unless they convert one of the longhouses into villas

If I want to build other than a second BLT, I would remove the buildings now used for the Spirit of Aloha Show and build on that site. I would build a new restaurant and theater inside the building to provide additional dining and host the Spirit of Aloha Show.

Being on the monorail is what is selling out BLT lets face it alogn with proximity to MK, thats why AKV isnt moving well now and I wonder about the Treehouse.

I would assume if this sells out fast that another DVC resort will go up here, and since one of the great things about BLT is the view, I would think they would try to see what they can do at the Polynesian or is there room on the side at GF?

Don't get your hopes up for a second tower where the South Wing stands. When we met with our DVC rep a few weeks ago, he told us they were very interesting in adding a second tower BUT the ground over there CANNOT SUPPORT A TOWER. So, BLT is going to be :it:, so to speak.

That does not make a lot of sence because the building would be supported on piles just as the existing tower is.
