I was wondering if there were some DVC members out there who could explain the benefits and cost to me. i am interested, but don't really feel like going through the sales pitch by the Disney officials. You guys are a more knowledgeable bunch than them any day. Any advice you could offer would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I would definitely go on the tour when you get a chance. My wife and I went on it about 5 years ago and I can easily say that it was a very pleasurable experience. There was absolutely no pressure and when we said we needed to think about it and go over the numbers the sales rep put a package together for us and asked us where on property we were going next so he could arrange transportation for us. The was none of that typical "What will it take to get you to buy into the DVC today" crap at all. IMHO they are selling a product that if you fit a certain Disney travel criteria you are a fool not to buy so there is no need for any high pressure tactics.

I'm heading down there in Feb using a friends points and I plan on booking the tour. I've spoken with one of the sales reps and he's been a great guy to deal with. I've felt Zero pressure from them. It's almost like they don't want to ask you to buy until you're well informed. I'm using 250 points from a family friend and so far I've stretched that into a 3 night cruise, 4 days at disney, 2 days at Hilton Head, and 2 days at Vero Beach. What a deal!

Regarding the tour... what does it include? I know some time shares offer a nights accomodation and things like that... what does Disney do?

Thanks, J
