If parents invest in Disney Vacation Club, when they eventually pass, is DVC something that stays in the family for their now adult children or does it immediately stop?

DVC ownership is a leased ownership in a real estate interest. Ownership lasts until 2042. It may be passed down according to the terms of the will of the deceased.
(I'm not going to call you morbid, since you're still young, but I can't even consider the thought of inheriting the additional points from my father and stepmother, or inheriting anything for that matter. What will be will be.)
