DVC outside WDW

Hi All,

Can anyone advise me whether DVC can be used outside the US? I know points can be used at Disneyland (Are they the same as at a WDw resort?) but what about Paris, Tokyo and HK?

Does anyone know the score?

They can be used at over 300 (I think) locations around the world, but I am not entirely sure if you can use them at non-US Resorts. I don't have my book handy, so I can't answer authoritatively right now.

Yes, you can use your points in Paris, Tokyo & Hk. Just know that the point requirements are much higher.

Yes, but booking a non-Disney owned hotel that is offered is diffrent that it would be if you were booking at WDW. You have to do a points "exchange" to book...Some else, please feel free to explain more...

Yep, going to Tokyo Disneyland next month

And we used our DVC points to book the stay at DisneySea MiraCosta Hotel. We just joined right after Christmas -- a spur of the moment purchase during a stroll thru Downtown Disney. This is our first use of the DVC points. We are already booked for July 4 and Christmas 2006 at SSR.
