DVC at DLR

I am a new DVC member and am currently in LA on business so I figured what better way to spend the weekend than take my first trip to Disneyland. Traveling alone usually makes me seek out people to talk to so who better than the friendly DVC reps at DL and CA. I spoke to I believe 8 or 9 different reps over the past 3 days and my question to all of them was the same. Are there any plans to expand the DVC presence to the Disneyland resort? Each and every one came back and said they are trying hard to expand but it's just a matter of finding the space. They said they hope to have something going within the next 3-5 years. Also 2 of the reps told me that they are actually strongly considering converting some of the Grand Californian into DVC Villas.

And just to be straight with you all this is based on REAl conversations I had with the reps and not a fake rumor just to get everyone stirred up.

Thought? Anyone else hear anything like this?

Many of us at the World keep hearing things. Magic Maker would be a good one to ask since she is an ASA and just took a business trip out to Disneyland to aid some of the new ASAs there. Magic Maker?

PLEASE READ THIS - IT IS IMPORTANT!!!

I am glad that my fellow DVC Associates were friendly and informative for you. But I please ask all of those reading this thread to discontinue asking us what's next.

WE CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT answer this question at all. We want to be friendly and helpful and most of us see no harm in it. But the company does not wish us to lead on into anything valid or not. When something is finalized we will know and so will the rest of the world.

I know you all mean no harm, and I understand your curiousity, but Cast Members may get into trouble, even for something you may perceive as harmless. So please do the Cast a favor and do not ask us what we have planned next.
